Welcome to the web site of Kenmare Walking Club. Whether you are a current member or a browsing guest interested in walking we hope you find the site of interest.

Founded in the 1980's the club has grown from strength to strength and today has a permanent membership in excess of 100 regular walkers and several hundred non-members join us annually on our organised walks and festivals. (Non-members are asked to contact walk leaders beforehand.)

Kenmare is situated in the middle of the most impressive mountain ranges in Ireland and the highest peak, Carrauntoohil, is a regular parking spot for the club!

Please note that the club will NOT being organising a festival in 2008. The club is taking a holiday and passes its good wishes to all its friends.
